Whoo! This, ladies and gentlemen, is my debut entry in my wordpress blog. Welcome, welcome, welcome. I’ve been searching on and off for the last couple of month for a place to make my own blog at, and I seem to have finally found it. I’ll get to formatting this page and other such things in the next few days, but…this is the opener, and I wanted to say hi. A few things about me, which many of your probably already know. I’m a guy, age 18, I live in Washington state, ect. Also, the story behind my name……..

Many, many years ago (May of 2004 to be exact), I was in 8th grade. Since we didn’t have a whole lot of WASL testing ot do that year, but hte other grades did, we hit Royal Ridges (a semi-local camp) for some “Outdoor school”. Almost like a team building retreat or something. Anyway, there were some goats nearby, I was being random at the time, as I usually am, so, one of my friends, out of a fit of randomness (although he maintains it was because the goats were licking their own urine. I don’t remember that part, I just remember them hanging around. He lies. He has blue hair. Why wouldn’t he lie?) said “‘Dude, you = Goat”. It stuck somehow, mostly because I wanted it to stick, because I needed a nickname. So, that explains the Goat part. Now, the Hurtful part…..fast foward to September of 2006. I got an Xbox 360 (which eventually broke, and I sold off the refurb, so don’t look for me on XBL. I’ve of course, never on), and I needed to set up my Xbox Live account. “Goat” was taken, but one of hte things the name generator spit out was “Hurtfulgoat”. I tweaked it to “Hurtful Goat”, and fired it off. Of course, no one had such a bizarre name, which is one of the reasons I like it. It’s never, ever taken when I register at a site. It’s gets comments too, so I’ve used it all over the place since.
