Well, here it is! My first finished piece with my new Canon ZR930. Yes, this whole thing is kind of thrown together, not a whole lot of work went into it, and I’m not 100% sure what I’m doing just yet. Also, I don’t have Final Cut Express quite yet, I’m using iMovie HD. But, it’s point was just to let me practice a bit. So, enjoy.
Sadly… the green text is somewhere between -3 and 0 font size when viewed on this page on my MacBook….
Nice camera. If I may, what drove you to this specific camera?

Whoops! Downscaling…..try the fullscreen. It was readable at native res when I was editing it.
As for the camera, I mainly got it becuase it had a mic jack, and didn’t compress the audio. Very few cameras in this price range even had mic-jacks, and many that did were flash-based things, recording low bitrate video with 2.0 Dolby Digital audio. This one was MiniDV with 48/16 LPCM from the mic jack. That and the grid markers in the viewfinder/LCD.
